What
			TV Commercials - Campaign 3x :30sec Spots

			 Who
			Client: Kellogg's / J. Walter Thompson
			Production Company: Pendulum Studios
			Director of 3D, Co-Owner : Mike McCormick
			Executive Producer, Co-Owner: Robert Taylor
SyFlex Simulations: Stev Kalinowski, Mike McCormick

			 Where
Pendulum used SyFlex throughout the 3-spot commercial campaign to simulate the
tattered clothes and gold chains of all the skeleton pirates. The pirate "Captain"
also had flowing white hair and a long scraggly beard for which SyFlex was instrumental in creating.

			 More
Director of 3D, Mike McCormick, and 3D Technical Director, Stev Kalinowski discuss the
project and the critical use of SyFlex:

"Simulating tattered clothing is no simple task. There are many areas of the geometry that
can get caught in creases or tangled up in themselves. To navigate around these problems,
we made good use of SyFlex's ability to blend caches. This allowed us to use different
versions of a simulation to splice together the best sections of each version.

Since the clothing simulations were so well in hand, we also used SyFlex to simulate
the pirate 'bling' and hair, adding another level of detail to each shot."
